Extreme Action Adventure Dreamage

For the past two weeks I have been aggressively flexing the old grey matter... whilst sleeping. So intense are my night time mind mumbles, that I have been waking up totally exhausted!

It's like spending all day hustling and bustling in the queue for the Sleep ride - the ride that takes you away from all your day time stresses to a peaceful place, leaving you feeling rested and refueled for daylight adventures to come - to discover upon climbing aboard and lowering the eyelids into the locked position, that you're on the wrong tracks. Panic kicks in as you realise this will be no blissful trips down memory lane, as the cart jerks forward, you know your chances of enjoying the night as the 5th member of the A-Team are gone :(
This track is usually reserved for adrenaline snooze junkies, those that seek the constant twists and never reviling plots, by eating cheese before they jump onboard.

I'm not against extreme action adventure dreamage, occasionally I enjoy getting my brain bumped around in it shell in Technicolor. It's just after two weeks I'm getting quite worried by the effect it is having on me as I bumble through the day light. As I force open my eye lids, legs wavering and giddy, I exit the ride each day to a world full of contrast. No longer do colours rush me by, doors lead to rooms that they are supposed to, and my wings seem to have disappeared!

Hey Robbie, it sounds grinding, matey. May I recommend a hot milk drink before bed? But not before you bring that focused aggression to gaming tomorrow night. We'll collectively. Kick. Some. Arse! Indigo

lack of quality sleep is the worst, hope your extreme action adventure dreamage finds you at an oasis of tranquility soon...

Cheers for commenting!
How do you like my sexually ambiguous rochester dreamscape?

Gareth - Thanks buddy :)

Indigo - Really not a fan of hot milk, unless it has a mountain of cocoa powder in it mmmmm I can not make it this week, but if things continue this way, I'll be more than psyched for next week!

Eolist - Even if it was just for a mid adventure chillax, an oasis would be most welcome :)

Make a great film!

Like the idea of the 'Sleep Ride' and the comparison of the boring daytime predictabilities. The eternal sleep for you will be an awesome adventure!

Ted - I never thought of it like that! I agree :)

Ugh. That sounds like no fun!

I was going to recommend a hot milk, as per a suggestion I knew Indigo would make...and then I saw he already made it! Haha!

Also, try to take a hot quick shower about a half hour before bed. It might work!

Good luck friend! xoxo

Robbie,
There is always the long hot bath option, works for my man. It doesn't help me though, he falls to sleep and I end up bent over him, washing his hair leaving me with killer back pains...
But he never complains about having nightmares, as the bath has made him too relaxed to get anxious or full of adrenaline...
Might be wise to make sure you're not alone before you fall to sleep in the bath though...
I can't imagine drowning being a good thing...
